Simple Stress-Buster - the power of a quick glance

A near miss in the car park today reminded me of something powerful ...

After a driver reversed out right in front of me, I exchanged a knowing glance with a woman who was standing nearby - we raised our eyebrows and shared a big smile.

Such brief eye contact is more meaningful than you might think.

Looking someone in the eye and sharing a moment like that is priceless positivity training for your nervous system. It signals safety and connection, flooding your body with feel-good hormones.

It certainly lifted me as I drove away.

So stop for a moment and think. How often do you make eye contact during your day? And how can you have more of it?

It doesn't have to be with a person - even animals or (as I explain in my video) a cuddly pig can create the same effect.

Your nervous system has a primary need for connection. Each meaningful glance tells it: "You're not alone."

Try increasing your positive eye contact today and then see what you notice.
