How I Tamed My Savage Inner Critic

    You think you're invincible until you're not.

    At 28, half my face went numb. The diagnosis after months of specialists: "just stress."

    My subconscious patterns had created the perfect storm:

    • A merciless inner critic driving perfectionism

    • Emotions shut down to "stay sane"

    • A doom merchant in my head always preparing for worst-case scenarios

    I tried changing everything external:

    Left my stressful corporate job. Nope.

    Moved to sunny southern France. Still no.

    Only when I did the inner work did my world change. And almost overnight. Inside and out. After decades of high-functioning anxiety, I finally felt like myself and could truly live.

    Your strengths become your weakness if the patterns that drive success also drive stress.

    But they aren't life sentences either - if you do the inner work.
