Do you have a mind that never shuts up?

At last week's Coaching Cafe, we explored our annoying inner dialogue – those voices that overthink everything, ruminate on the past, worry about the future, or just criticise and put you down.

All quite normal. And all possible to change.

I shared some simple but powerful techniques. You can use your hands to take that voice and place it gently on the table in front of you. From there you can turn down its volume, ask it to step back, help it retire, or simply transform how it speaks to you. After making a shift, you can put it back inside again and feel the difference!

I use these techniques because they work. For myself and my clients. That mental noise that once had me reaching for constant distractions has been replaced by silence.

How might your day be different with that kind of peace inside?

And which voice in your head would you love to change most?

Take a moment to really listen to it - is it really your voice?

Where exactly is it coming from - left or right, front or back, inside your head or floating somewhere outside?

Awareness is the key first step. Get to know your inner voices.

Then if you can join me at the next Coaching Cafe, I'll show you how to transform them!

One participant's insight from last week’s Café was this, "don't accept it, you can change it!"

We meet every first Thursday on Zoom at 7pm CET - register here now and you'll get reminders every month.
